FAQ

FAQ

Where is your office located?

My office is south of 1431 and Parmer in Cedar Park (3000 Polar Lane, Suite 602 in Cedar Park, TX 78613). Park anywhere you’d like and hang out in the lobby until I come out to meet you.

What are your fees per session?

$200 for individual psychedelic integration or depth/parts work

$275 for couples

Do you take insurance?

I am not in network. I have some reasons. You will not be term-limited in your therapy, your privacy will be retained (insurance companies require communication regarding your treatment), and a mental health diagnosis is not required outside of utilizing insurance (this is helpful in case you are ever sued or your medical records are subpoenaed). These are all important advantages to using private pay.

You may be able to claim mental health as a medical expense tax deduction. I can help you claim your treatment with me as an out-of-network provider.

What do I do to get started?

Send me an email, and let’s set a time for a free phone consultation. If we’re a good fit, I’ll let you know my first availability.

What is your cancellation policy?

48-hour notice is requested, or the full fee is applied.

What age ranges?

I see people ages 18 to 108.

Who is your perfect client?

The most important trait of a client that works well with me is a person who is willing to do their own work. This may seem obvious; however, you’ll be surprised at how often you want to focus on another person as the cause of your discomfort. My experience that the only person you can change is you is reflected in my feedback to clients.

What modalities do you use?

I work from a natural family systems model. This means that my curiosity will often take us down a path that looks at family of origin. The curiosity will help us understand how our default patterns of reactivity developed and what we can do to self-regulate and clarify who we want to be going forward. I also use Internal Family Systems (parts work, inner child work) to help clients understand how their strong reactions to life’s challenges are a reflection of the needs of their inner world. This work can help people show up with more calm, confident, curious, courageous, connected, compassionate, clear, and creative energy in their every day lives.

Do you provide Clinical Supervision?

Yes. As an LPC Supervisor, I offer both group and individual supervision for LPC Associates pursuing licensure. My background in crisis response and rich experience in launching my own successful private practice offer Associates support that is ethically strong, diverse in professional experience, and capable of supporting a wide range of Associate experiences.

Do you offer video or phone sessions?

Yes. This is another benefit of private pay, as we will have greater flexibility regarding the medium for our meetings.

Do I have to lay down on the couch?

Nope. Most people prefer to sit up 😊

Will you tell me what to do?

I’m not an advice-giver, a referee, or someone who knows the answer on what you should do. I will tell you what I see and will tell you where I think that will lead you, so you can choose if that’s where you want to go.
